Hi, I have had milkweed plants for years with the standard pink flowers. This year (2021) the flowers turned yellow. Is it the high heat?

Can you post close ups of the flower? Offhand, I have never heard of this happening but I never grew these but I am a huge admirer of these.
Do you have old pictures too of the plant with pink flowers? Get some leave pictures too. If we can ID what plant you had then and now, it would be easier to opine.
