Hi bird experts, I saw these wild parrots in West Los Angeles yesterday and took some pictures. I was curious what type they were. There are at least 11 different species that are naturalized here. From what I can tell I eliminated it down to two. Either the Red Masked parakeet or the Mitred parakeet. They are really similar, although the Mitred has no red on the wings like the Red Masked not all Red Masked have it visible. To me they look slightly more like the Mitred. What do you think? Thanks!

Yes, Mitred.
I have many decades of parrot experience, and I can tell you that this whole group will freely hybridize, so one can ever be 100% sure.
