Began propagation of all my african violets (via angled leaf stem method) 7 months ago. They are all doing well, one of them has it's mature leaves. My source plants happily flower pretty much year 'round. When do propagated AV's generally send up their first blooms?
Wait time for first propagated African Violet bloom
Well, I'm happy to answer my own question! The mature-leaf plant is sending up it's first blooms!!! So that puts the answer at around 8 months. Thank you very much and I gotta say that this is the first time Dave's Garden forums have not been there for me. Is it the virus? Did I post in the wrong forum? I don't know, but it's the end of an era, I guess. Love to everyone out there.
