Hello all,
I found these dried stalks on a walk and was wondering if I could have help identifying them. They were approximately 2-3 ft long and looked like a horns protruding from the ground. The centers are hallow and the inside has the texture of styrofoam. The outside reminds me of a corn husk. My zip is 60406 zone 6a. Thanks all!
Please help to identify
Could this be a dried maize plant (corn plant)
