Tiny worms in waterfall

Bonita, CA

I see lot of tiny worms sticking on the rock of my waterfall running to the pond, even that water running very strong but they still glue to the rocks surfaces, don't see them in the koi pond.

Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them? Thanks,

go to a local high school and get the teacher to make up a couple of slides for a microscope. if the instructor can't id them, take/send them to a biology lab at a local university. plan c go to your local dept of wildlife. they will forward it to their resident know-it-all. cheers

By and large, most kinds of worms found in drinking water are innocuous to people and represent no wellbeing risk. Notwithstanding, a few sorts of worms can be an indication of defilement and may demonstrate the presence of other destructive microbes or parasites in the water
