I have two samples of hickory and one of oak . Which one is hickory and which is oak? How could I identify them easily?

Left to right: Oak, Hickory, Hickory.

My question to you: how do YOU know you have two hickory and one oak sample?

Richmond, TX

I was going to guess the same ones, merely because two were red and one was not - and I've never seen oak looking that red.

I don't know how to reply to a single answer but as for how I knew it's because I ordered two hickory and one oak samples but they were scrambled

And please how did u identify them?
