SOLVED: A gift plant

Gainesville, FL

This one was given to me by a friend. She doesn't know what it is and neither do I. I feel as if I should know, however. Can you help me?

Looks like one of the speckled leaf hoyas. Maybe H. pubicalyx. I think that one has pink flowers which would confirm.

I've been checking hoyas and just wasn't sure if this was one. If it is, then it'll be my first hoya. It does have some sort of flower buds, I think, so we'll see what they turn out to be like. Thanks for the help.

It could be an Acuba.

Castro Valley, CA

Hoyas I have seen have thicker leaves, more succulent with succulent stems. Totally looks different to me than your plant. I have never seen a hoya have a flower like yours either.

Seems to be a Dracaena surculosa.

I did not note the flower buds. This us definitely not a hoya. I do not believe this is an acuba either.

ZilyZily has the correct answer. I have Gold Dust Dracaena (Dracaena godseffiana) that looks just like that.
