SOLVED: Tropical mystery plant

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic(Zone 11)

Anyone out there recognize this plant?
Need help in identifying it.
Currently growing in the Dominican republic, but plant is not from here.

Yes it is Calotropis procera. It is an African Asian milkweed that is naturalised throughout the tropics. I have seen it in Sahara, Brazil, Canary Islands and Cuba.

It is quite pretty which probably helps to explain it's wide range. Seeds are efficiently distributed by the winds. A good food source for Monarch butterflies and their larvae.

Wish I could grow one in UK but the winter would kill it I am sure.
