Due to circumstances beyond my control my roses are in pitiful shape. Several years ago we had the yard landscaped by “professionals “(Long story) they did not tell me the type or names. Forward to now. Because of illness the roses have not been tended to like they should have been. There are many dead branches, and vines, and more vines growing all throughout them. There are several planted close to each other. My question is: should I go in and cut all dead Branches Now, which will be almost the majority of Them, or wait till cold weather and Do it? I don’t know that much at all about roses. Thank you. And I look forward to reading answers and helpful information about roses.
