Hello!!
An acquaintance has a problem a problem with a Loropetalum chinensi that is rapidly deteriorating and has leaves of an altered color. It would not seem to be under attack by parasites and my fear is that it has a radical problem because looking at the photo where you see the pot it seems to me that there is mold but I don't make text.
Can you help me understand what is happening to it? Thank you!
Loropetalum with problems
How long has it been in a pot? Planting it in the ground and watering it on a schedule for the first year or two will help immensely. Then it will need annual hedging to keep it under control. To keep it in a pot, it would need some fertilizer, regular watering, outdoor growing conditions (lots of sun) to make it healthy once again.
