Anyone using Picasa photo editor now?

I have been using Picasa Photo editor all the way. When our computer got Windows 10, this changed and I don't know why. Picasa 6 had a few good things.... google stopped Picasa... and I am fond of Picasa - easy to operate... now it is creating more confusion. I don't know why. Text I type does not get saved. It came back to Picasa 3. Again I don't know why. So baffling. Any way of downloading the updated one if any? My searches were futile.
