Landscape design software has taken a huge step backwards!
I have used CAD programs for 40 years - ACAD & LANDCADD but my licenses have expired
A friend asked me to do a design for their house and I have not found anything that works in 2 D, how does a crew install from 3D?
I tried a # of programs, the latest Virtual Architect - full of bugs - boundary - property line does not work, line command, curved edging
I have the site plan in QCAD and tried importing tree blocks but they are not scalable
What is going on here?

any suggestions would be appreciated, this will be my last design after all this aggravation!
