I just noticed a plague of leafminers on the free boxwoods I transplanted last fall. Ripped out the three worst ones and took them to the dump. Treated the other two, with much less damage, with insecticide. Worst ones had yellow stipply leaves and worms/larvae on the undersides of them. Hoping I've saved the other two...may have to try melathion? Will the bugs fly back from the dump (we have a burn ban on), and/or infect my other plants? (no photos, but they were gross-looking)
