This happens every year to my leaves. It gets progressively worse until the leaves fall off. My poor tree has not been able to thrive and remains a skinny and weak thing. The trunk is barely an inch diameter and about 6 ft tall. I’ve had it a few years now.
The tree just came out of hibernation maybe 2 weeks ago and starting sprouting beautiful leaves, however the same spots are plaguing it again.
The photos are of a new leaf I plucked off. What are these spots? How do I get rid of them organically?
In the past, I’ve tried neem oil, with a little soap and baking soda mixed into water. It totally burned the leaves. I can try a new neem oil mixture that is weaker.
I also have Alaska fish emulsion which I’ve not used yet. Should I spray it on as a foliage spray? Would it help?
Thanks for any help.
Lisa
