Could you please help me identify this tree? Photograph taken at an arboretum in Massachusetts, northeastern United States, March 2020.

Looks like Hamamelis virginiana - Witch Hazel.

I'll agree that the plant is a Witch Hazel - but not Hamamelis virginiana which blooms in the fall.

It is likely one of the many clones of Hamamelis x intermedia which bloom in the spring. It is perhaps even the home grown Hamamelis x intermedia 'Arnold Promise' that was selected by the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain/Boston, Massachusetts - whose visitor center is in the background of the photo.
