Hello Everyone!
I'm building a technology to help screen for and remediate crop diseases. I would appreciate any feedback on the following questions:
1) What disease(s) keep farmers up at night?
2) What are farmers' general responses to finding leaf blight or other fungal disease in their field? Application of fungicides (and by what method, biplane, drone, truck)? Is it always applied in the later stages (i.e. after tasseling)?
3) How valuable would the insight of earlier disease detection be to farmers? Are many farmers aware of surgical application of fungicides by drones?
Looking forward to your feedback!
