56* high today, chances of rain...ashes left of fireworks pounding the air last night. The dog is sleeping hard today, chuckl. Good day for it with all the gray out there, but the carrots seem happy...

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Got pretty warm yesterday into the mid 80's, today a big line of rain is coming, gonna get cool again.

72F this morn, high 81F, low 45F.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

I must have missed new threads.
Today sun is shining & 32º.
Yesterday we had a few inches of snow. Ground is covered now, will be uncovered tomorrow as forecast is for 40MPH winds. Look out for drifts.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Barely got to 65*, tonites lo is 45*. Pretty enough to start the work on next phase of back deck. Tomorro should be in 70's.

Difference in all the weather is extreme ,
40's and a little rain off and on here , colder at night ..

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Wondered where you were CG, good to see you pop in.

I've been camping, coldest night was last Sunday, well actually Monday morning was 39F...thank goodness camper has propane heater. All week down to low and mid 40's here, but sunny and no rain...great camping weather.

Back home yesterday and it got up to 80...and today up to 84F.

-2º at 9 AM. Sunny. Will be in local bar cheering on the Vikings today.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Brrr CG... at least it is sunny there.

We're having record high temps, yesterday we hit 86F...our normal high is 70F this time of year. Today about the same. I'm sure the tourist are loving this beach weather.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

We are seeing a lot of 40's and 50's here , it was 38 today only one of two cold days in a week or more , mild it was though ,

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

62F this morning, that felt better. Still up to 84F today, a few more days like that and we'll have a normal weekend. I saw a butterfly yesterday, it's that warm.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Rainy most of the day, 75* will drop to 66* tonite, humidity is 90% so the air is warm and soft. That means every bone in my body refused to move fast today, sigh. 1/2" rain but so much light foggyish drizzle, I think the rain gauge was light in the telling. Saved up some more clean rain water, so may be watering day after tomorro, it does make the plants jump.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

about 40 degrees here , foggy ,misty, gray day ..

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

We have been in 80's &70's last few days- no rain here, but it is about to cool back down. It feels good outside, but my arthritis flared and all my joints were inflamed, so I took it easy on anything to do, and just enjoyed the day.
My seeds showed up that I ordered in Dec, and I am excited they all showed up, chuckl.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Partly cloudy today, no more 80's for a bit, today up to 73F, breezy. Very slight chance of rain. 66F this morn.

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

Waiting on the winter storm. Snow is about 20 miles west of us. Wind blowing at 21 MPH from SE. Won't clear up until Sunday. 13º

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

19 this morning 31 today clear and cloudy

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

The last of our warmer days are cooling down now, 70 down to 40* tonite- gray overcast rain threatening last 3 days. Sunshine will break out and a hi of 50* for tomorro

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

That storm is a doozy.

We're on our last warm day also, it will bring some of the coldest temps to FL. Breezy overcast 69F now at 9AM, down to 45F tonight. 70% chance of rain, winds 10-20mph.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

8 degrees this morning 12 degrees now , 19 the forecast high , it might make there ,,
as cold as that is ,, who cares ,,grumble , smile ,,

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Weather- well, I cared to NOT go outside for more than a few minutes, got into the lo 60's, but I have stayed wrapped up and warm indoors. That breeze cuts into my bones

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Single digits, Ju...ugh. My friend wanted me to go this week to her WV cabin, they snow ski, I don't...I said not this time, it is 2 degrees there today. ((grin))

45F this morn, they say up to 60 today, but we'll see, down to 36 tonight. Got my fuzzy wuzzy socks on. It is sunny, but windy.

41F this morn, breezy and sunny, tonight coldest temps, but at least no freeze warning here, stops just north of us. 37F low predicted.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

we made it to 27 degrees , yeah ,,, Today maybe above 30 ,,

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

33F this morning...some tropical low thingy off the east coast gonna give rain and wind later today...FL crazy weather. just crazy.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

My granddaughter said it was 30* last night in Pensacola, how did she protect her plants? Asked her what she had planted- catgrass(oats), catnip and basil. Told her throw a blanket or pot over them, protect from ice and wind. I know the oats are coming up, but I have a hard time thinking her catnip or basil are actually sprouting...
56* here, I have had an all day drizzle giving me one inch in the gauge, rain will clear tomorro, and I don't see the temp dropping more than another degree tonight.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Lots of counties above us dropped into the 20's, they're all posting pics on FB of their cold frozen gardens, and they covered. I'm surprised Pensacola was that warm, the windchill was a wicked. In South FL the iguanas were dropping out of the trees, they're not dead just stunned. I found two lizards in my garden like that.

Today much better, gray misty 53F but might make it to 70F, sun needs to come out for that though. My garden is fine, no damage, a bit wind blown is all.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

She is sheltered in the apartment- heard about the iggies, chuckl. 42* out now, droppin to 38*, up to 65* tomorro, colder than the newscasters expected around here as well.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

I heard that news story about the lizards also
Rain and 43 for today here , 39 now , rained all night also

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Yeah news had a hey day with the frozen iguanas.

Never made it past 65 yesterday, and got some rain, which was good, not enough, today warmer sunnier up to 78, tomorrow cold again, so gonna enjoy today.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Sun All this inconsistent weather , yesterday it all started as sleet for an hour ..
Makes the flu and cold season worse too

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Seeing 39* tonite, the day was gorgeous and felt really good-got yard work organized, maybe 65* with all that sunshine. Busy day tomorro planned

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

34 degrees and being mostly steady all day. with snow forecast , currently drizzle ,.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

53F this morn, maybe up to 70? tonight 45 low, sunny, so can't complain about that.

I haven't heard about an flu going around here yet. I just get the sniffles when we go back and forth hot and cold.

1/4" here last night, stayed in the 60's tho all night. Is 67* now going to 73* dropping to 48* tonite. The Influenza A&B strains have been hitting hard this year- I have nothing but flumpf today as regards the day. I just want to sit outside and sun. I hear east of me an hour or so got drenched good, and haven't checked radar but I think it is coming at JU again.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Yeah weather yesterday was bad not so bad today ,,More to come though . Made an hours drive today I had no idea I was going to ,

Lots of Flu around , I have been vaccinated but there is no guarantee of anything other than microbes and virus are about it ,,

Things are giving me the blues but winter is what it is ,, yes I am mumble grumbling again ,,,
However A blood sugar blocker is working to help me
I had my cholesterol at 225 ) then after a 6 month diet change from lipid ,cardio specialist it was almost 400
Grumble , mumble ,,
You know ,, sigh ,,, after 50 years of being a type 2 D with Genetic High cholesterol and no worse than was after all that time You would think that 50 years experience would be considered ,,,but ,,,,,,nooooooo

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Well, you can mumble and grumble...that's ok. Winter blues just add to it all. Trip to FL this time of year will cheer you up...LOL

We still haven't made it up to 70 during the day, but that's okay, at least last night didn't drop into the 40's. Today they say 70 again, but it is pretty cloudy, maybe some rain, tonight low mid 50's.

55* tonite, chances of rain and gray high but temp may hit 62* tomorro. Then I see a 45* and a remain in 40's ...winter is finally coming to the south.
