I have had a new species of insect show up in my garden. The garden is maybe 12 months established and I'm not sure if it is a good insect as a few of my chillis have rotted from the inside. So I'm not sure if it is insect related or not. Can someone identify please and tell me how to get rid of it if necessary. Thanks.
Those eyes are quite menacing, at least its not a termite!
Looks like an assassin bug (nymph).
It’s one you should be encouraging, not removing, as they eat insect pests.
