My gardening zone is 9b in Northern California. We do get a few nights' temp as low as 34'F from Dec-Feb.
I'd like to start some perennial flower seeds now to take advantage of the winter rain and mild weather. Do you think months old seedlings of perennials like Coreopsis, Salvia, etc that are cold hardy from zone 7 will survive winter outdoor?
