I have a young mourning dove who has made its home on our front porch a few weeks ago. At first I thought he was ill, but he does eat millet which I have put on the floor and he will fly if you get too close to him. Is there a reason for this? I dont see any other doves with him and I don't mind him being there. I just worry if there is something wrong or if this is normal.
