Thanks for the new thread Jackie.
I hope you don't lose your pandy too.

Gautier, MS

Pretty blooms Jackie. Hope your pandy is tough enough to take the rain.

Helena, those are so pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Lovely blooms Helena. Your speckled have all been special.
Beautiful chocolate?? in the middle. Pretty white rays on # 3.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. Another cold morning here.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Should be in the 60's here, wonderful after our cold winter temps. No rain for
about 6 days, I can actually walk down to the g house without wading thru mud

Gautier, MS

That's good to hear Jackie. No rain here either but still kind of cold, it does warm up during the day though.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

That's what it's doing here, at least no freezing temps at night.
Spring is just around the corner, :-)

Gautier, MS

Found my first volunteer seedling. Also showing seedling of flying saucer after soaking and baggie method. Also purpurea indigo feathers, same method. Looks like all have good roots.

Jackie those are beautiful. Plant some seeds and see what happens.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. I hope to try and start all of these so I can replenish my sd stash.

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms Jackie. That's all we can always do is keep trying to grow them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena,

Gautier, MS

Days here start very cool, cold but sunny and warming up.
My new seedlings are starting up!

Your seedlings looking good Helena. I hope I can make time soon
to start a few seeds.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Looks like you have quite a few seedlings. They look good.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. I can't wait till I can bring my vines outside. Even with the cool-cold nights and mornings the plants I have out are doing good.
It's spring here, the fragrance of the orange blossom honeysuckle and white wisteria is really nice. And other hummer plants, sorry for the repeats.

Nothing wrong with repeats. They are. Beautiful. Do I see bottle brush blooms?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Wonderful blooms Helena. I love the
white Wisteria, 1st time I've ever seen one.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happy birthday Jackie. Have an awesome day.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. I had a great day, acquired a few new plants. Was
wonderful to just get out of the house and do what I wanted to for a while. :-)

Gautier, MS

Happy Belated Birthday Jackie. Glad you had a great day!

I stopped at Lowes and a rose bush caught my eyes. Have you ever seen a "sport" on a rose? I had to buy it, a orange bloom growing on a dark red bush. I love that color orange too!

Wow! That is beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I've never seen a sport on a Rose, very neat. I'm partial
to orange blooms too.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. Never seen one on roses either, did see a red sport on a burgundy salvia years ago. Special finds that only happens unexpectedly.

So ready for warm weather early in the mornings, still too cold here.

Gautier, MS

Not a cold morning here this morning.
Found these 2 blooms growing in a bush in a house abandoned since Katrina across the st from my son's place in next town.

Those are beautiful.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda. I trimming dead rose branches when my turtle came to visit. Naturally I ran into the house cut up some strawberries for "him"! I think it was looking for blackberries which I removed and aren't ripe yet. Honeysuckle blooms smell so nice!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I was surprised to find them blooming.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Awe. Glad to see your turtle is back.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oops, I missed the turtle and honeysuckle pic, nice to see your turtle has returned.
He knows you put out food for him. They're apparantly smarter than most of us knew.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. I look forward to seeing my spring turtles and birds.

Gautier, MS

We are still having cold mornings, 47 when I took my gs to school. Had to water my plants and mgs in ghouse. Still not done, and more seedlings to get in bigger pots.
Oh yes, soaking another batch of seeds.
