Nesting has already started up here in North Florida. Even here it is early. Had a feeling that the 2 pair of Tufted Titmouse started last month do to their actions.
Have been watching a pair of Caroline Wrens making a nest in a gourd that is about 10 feet from my front porch for a few days. Just saw a Carolina Chickadee collating nesting materials.
(Sorry no pictures laptop died).
The Morning Doves have been courting but they do that almost all year.
Just saw 2 Ruby throat humming birds (1 has been here all winter).
Heard the cardinals singing,
So the good news is that spring is coming.
It is starting early
