CLOSED: Cooper\'s or Sharp-Shinned?

Aurora, CO(Zone 4a)

Our thriving bird village is visited on a weekly basis by a local hawk who perches and surveys the back yard for prey. I've never understood what the primary distinguishing difference is between Sharp-Shinned and Cooper's hawks. Something about the tail being rounded or squared? Hence, I took pains to include the tail in the shots I'm attaching. Won't one of the experts in this forum please tell me how to determine which species of hawk is forcing me to run outside in the snow to capture his likeness?
