I tried gingers a few years ago, I had them for 3 years, they never bloomed. Last year they never came back after winter.

Linda, sorry you lost your gingers. If you try again, try growing them in pots
and bring them inside for the winter. Also they like a dormant oeriod of
several months. Mine was dormant Nov thru March in the greenhouse so no freezing temps..

Pretty ginger bloom Jackie. I have two or three ginger plants too in ground growing, a orange flowers and one white. I haven't seen one bloom in awhile.

!,4 and 5 are supposed to be Asa Kumo which has lavender color, but these look like lite blue tie dye.

All I can imagine is that I might have mixed the seed when soaking or getting them into their own cups. I will need to start a few more to get a true one.

Beautiful Indica from yesterday and today. Ginger looks great and really love your Purple Star Not.

No pics today. It rained and ruined the blooms and I had to go out of town early morning. Hope tomorrow I'll get some nice ones.

You;ve already had some beautiful blooms this season. I have the fewest vines going
since 2005 and 06. Just too much going on. I do have a tub full if they ever bloom.

I have a few nice blooms this morning. Also collected a few seeds from vines in back yard, those vines don't want to bloom since I sprayed them to kill the bugs. I guess it was too strong of a spray.

Hopefully you're backyard vines will start blooming again after they get over being sprayed.

up rain storms yesterday,. so dry the ground just soaked it right up.
