I bought an agave online just under 2 weeks ago. When it arrived the very lower leaves were a touch yellow but I didn’t think too much about it. It has since deteriorated quickly. The lower leaves have turned yellow and started to shrivel up, and the next tier of leaves have now started to turn as well. There are also some indentations, which I assumed were just physical puncture marks, but now there are new ones appearing (green part of third photo). It’s inside and we don’t have any pets so I can’t see how it would get damaged.
Forums I have read always say root rot but it’s bone dry. I watered once when it arrived and once since, and the water goes right through so I’m sure it draining well.
Any advice??
