Pond plant identification

Johnson City, TN(Zone 6b)

I am cleaning out our pond and I am not sure what these plants are. They have roots but no rhizomes. Thanks.

I have this plant.I don't know the technical name for it. We call it march marigold because it gets yellow flowers. The deer love it and will eat it down to nubbins but it always comes back

The leaves of Wavy leaf pondweed are fairly firm and crinkled, around 1/2-inch wide and 2-to 3-inches long. Little teeth are apparent along the edges of the leaves, which are organized on the other hand around the stem. Leaves become more thick close to the furthest limit of branches.
