Garlic Growth

Hi all,

My crop of garlic has been planted 25th of march and the growth has been very slow, some still not sprouting. I cant remember if this is normal or not and wondering if anyone can help me out!

Here in southern MN, garlic is planted in Sept. for July to August harvest.

Nooby, you didn't say where you are, but garlic and onions love cold weather, die off for summers when the heat goes up. I am just north of Houston and all my garlic have gone dormant now since abt 2 weeks past. I don't harvest, as I use mine as green leaf chops thru there growing season. I start garlic and onions by Halloween or Thanksgiving.

Sorry I am in South Australia, we plant in Autumn and harvest in Spring, I just dont remember my last crop taking so long to grow into a fullsized plant! I thought it might be the soil but its all fresh and enriched...

Dunno abt you guys down there, but our weather is messing us up. Luck!
