This mushroom came in with a house plant that I recently brought in for the winter . It is kind of cool looking but I am concerned about its toxicity having baby grandsons and animals . does anyone have an ID and how do you remove it from the pot without killing the plant it came in on ? I have never had a mushroom come in on a plant before and I have been around the block horticulturally .
thanks , laura

This is so common in pots it is called the yellow flower-pot mushroom - Leucocoprinus birnbaumii
Don’t eat it.
