Longtime friend and member of Davesgarden passed away October 4, 2017. Lotusblossom was introduced to DG by her daughter Kimberly "gardenwife" and joined us in May 2001.
From her obituary, Cathy was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was an avid reader along with caring for her flowers, birding, and enjoying her dogs and cats through the years. She and her husband traveled to the Outer Banks where they camped and took pleasure in the beach. She had a wonderful wit, a dry sense of humor, and especially liked telling jokes. She learned collecting from her mother and continued throughout her life. She was a member the Bible-Way Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in Columbus and she was a 21-year cancer survivor.
She is survived by her husband, along with her daughter and son-in-law Kimberley & Howie, step-daughters, a sister, and several nieces and nephews.
