Overwinter/Store Begonias, Coleus & Geranium

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

Is there a way I can store these plants over our winter, instead of having to purchase them every year.

I take cuttings of annual geraniums (pelargoniums) in the fall and over-winter them in a sunny window. That would probably work with coleus as well. The following article suggests some other methods...

I wait until my tuberous begonias die off in autumn and I clean off the tubers and store them in a box filled with sawdust to start them again come spring.

I'm very sorry I didn't thank you for your help before now. I haven't been on this site for a long time. So I do thank you very much for your help. Debbie
