a friend of mine who is not gardening minded has just bought £80 / $120 of seedling bedding plants off www.egarden.co.uk. THE FOOL doesnt even have a greenhouse. this is also very bad on the part of egarden because they sold young plants at this time of year nowing that folk like him will let them die then get a repeat order.

Companies have been selling bedding plants(plug plants) for nearly 3 months-they know people will be back for more,summer bedding is now sold so people have forgotten spring comes before summer,and there is so many beautiful spring plants to grow too.

Who can be bothered to pay 75p for Surfinias etc now and have to look after them for a month or two when you can leave it to someone else and then pay double later !!
There's enough going on in my greenhouse at the moment anyway. I see tomatoes are in the stores already !!

I got over 100 cuttings of surfinias for 25 quid as i lost them all in the cold spell.
