In the last 24-48 hours I've noticed dark brown-black damage to the center and edges of many buds and one open flower on a D.A. Lady Gardener. I thought maybe it was thrips but I cut several several semi-open buds and tapped them on white paper and the only thing that came off was a single, small black bug. Flowers that opened a day or two ago are fine (see last photo) but the buds around them show damage. I'm contemplating removing the damaged flowers and buds. Any thoughts on what this might be or how to deal with it? The foliage is healthy. Thanks!
