Cliche title I'm sure, but I'm new to gardening in general and just bought my first home a few months ago so I'm pretty clueless.
Three weeks ago there was a sale at a local garden store and I picked up this japanese maple tree. Stupidly I threw out the little care card that came with it so I do not know what kind it is or how to properly care for it.
I planted it about 3 weeks ago and it seems to be doing fine but it has some weird colors on the leaves and some are a little burnt or something. I was hoping someone could take a look and maybe tell me what type of tree it is and offer a little guidance on care and if I should be doing any kind of pruning or what have you. Thank you.
