Hello,
I'm rather new the plants and gardening.
I came across this perculia looking purple bumpy affliction whilst visiting Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa. Does anyone know what it is?
Not sure wat plant it is.
Purple leaf affliction?
For any one interested in knowing what this is, it is called currant blister (cryptomyzus ribis). Caused by aphids in the early summer, my source says that this effects white, red and black-currant plants.
Not sure if this affects any other types of plants in a similar fashion though...
