Attempting to grow a mango in San Diego coastal region. Plant is 7 years old and finally looking like a real tree. However, many leaves are emerging and growing with deformities. Any idea what this is and how to combat?
Mango leaf fungus?
I'm no expert, but it could be a nutrient thing wit the misshapen leaves. My mango trees get that sometimes, it normally goes away when I fertilize. The browning around the green leaves could be something different. I've heard people recommend the bear advanced garden disease / fungus spray (I think they have one for fruit trees too). Or you could try neem (which has been shown to combat fungus) if you want to go organic.
