problems with globe cyprus

THE 2 plants were planted at the same time. I really don't see any difference in the conditions yet one is huge and one is mangy. any help/suggestions on how to get the little one growing ??

Did you plant them, or was the work done by others?

This is a typical sign that a plant is planted too deep. Scratch around the base of the puny one, and see if the root flare is at or above the soil surface. If it is below the surface, then the plant should be dug up and replanted at the appropriate level.

Does the mailman use the stairs or walk through your garden?
