Hello
I'm not sure what's going on with my topiary. Does this type of plant turn brown in the winter? I live in Florida and recently a couple of nights the temperature dropped to the 20s and we had a whole lot of rain. I also had scale issues over the summer and probably still do. Does anyone know what going on with my topiary and can they recover?
Eugenia Topiary
This is not something I grow but...
Did it turn brown after the cold snap? Because if so, that looks like a good answer. There is also a fungus Neofusicoccum parvum known to attack Eugenia.
Here are two pages to read and compare:

Environmental requirements: Reading this it seems 20 degrees is too cold.
