CLOSED: Stump by a couple birdies

Clinton, MD(Zone 7a)

The 1st photo I thought was a female Yellow-rump, but I only see yellow on the breast and none under the throat area, so I'm not sure.

The 2nd image I know is a Thrush, just not sure which one as the color is as brown as I am used to seeing.

Thanks...Al

Yep, first is a Myrtle Warbler [Yellow-rumped Warbler]; might be a subadult male, not sure though.

Second - when & where was the pic taken? Hermit Thrush is the only one found north of the Caribbean at this time of year, but does have a rufous tail. Swainson's Thrush fits better on tail colour, and could be what this is if the pic was taken in the migration season (Sept-Oct), or now in South America.

Thanks Resin. The 2nd photo was taken 5.14.16 at Monticello Park in Alexandria VA.
