Our Candy cat passed to The Bridge today. She has been failing for a couple of months. I had to crate her for the last month because of peeing on everything. She'd pee on her bed in the crate, but still use the litterbox. She was probably 15 or so; we adopted her from the shelter at least 12 years ago. I knew she was not going to get better..........she had lost quite a bit of weight over the summer. No matter if you know it IS the right thing to do, it is still difficult. We still have 4 other kitties.........all rescues. I'll bet our Pip met her at the bridge...........we adopted him the same day.
