I will be growing pole beans for my first time next year, will do so vertically. I am just needing to understand; does a pole bean just produce 1 long growing vine, or are there multiple vines like with melons? That is all I need to know. Thanks all for your input!
Simple Question about Pole Beans
They initially grow one primary vine quickly and, as the plant matures, they branch. They sense how much vertical and horizontal space they have. Mine grow best with both.
