Hello all! I'm new here, any advice is appreciated. I recently purchased "Passion Flower Vine Plant Passiflora Quadrangularis" from Emerald Goddess Gardens. I've heard some passion flower plants are poisonous to animals. (I have a dog.) I'm not having much luck finding out if this one is, before I plant it. Anyone know? Thanks!
Passion Flower help please!
It sounds like this is one of the safer ones, but it's possible. If your dog has a history or eating plants then I would not plant it, but if you read the lists of plants poisonous to dogs there are a ton of very common plants on there. I think a lot of it depends on your dogs behavior toward plants.

Thanks for the links! Much appreciated! _Rebecca
I think many of the plants are poisonous if eaten by most animals but many of the "fruits" are edible. I have 2 planted in my yard and neither of my 4 legged compadres have paid the slightest attention to it.
