I grew a beautiful crop of corn in my square foot garden this year. One morning I woke up to find stalks and half-gnawed corn everywhere! It was those darn raccoons. It was quite devastating as I was planning to serve the corn at our upcoming family BBQ party.
Well I became very determined to find the best way to get rid of those cooners from coming again. People seem to like to trap them or shoot them. But if you knew me that would be my last option.
A friend’s daughter told me about these things called raccoon spikes, or De-Fence spikes that you screw on around your fence and the raccoons just stay out! It's been one month so far and ever since installing them, the raccoons never came back. No more disheveled garbage cans either! It mustve been one of the best purchases I've made for my home. It didn’t take me long to install but saved me so much time and grief from cleaning up the raccoons mess that they’d leave. Just thought I would share this miraculous invention with you folks :)
The best preventative way for keeping raccoons out of your yard
