Please assist how could I get my gladiolus to flower. It grows very healthy but fail to bloom although I have fed it with blooming fertilizer. (pic2)
The other type of gladiolus(pic1 & 3) was blooming every year with no problem.
The different the two was the leaf whereby the blooming glad has smaller leaf than the non-blooming one. I am not sure their exact type/breed.
By the way I am planting it in our tropical climate. I preserve the bulbs/corm during dormant period in the fridge.
Thanks.

gladiolus
I don't think it needs to be in the fridge when dormant.
These grow here in the Panama tropics. Die down in the dry season for 4 months then come up again in the rainy season. Don't need to do anything to them and are reliable bloomers.
I have not grown them in pots, only in the garden.
