Concrete. Crochet Tablecloth

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I've been doing a lot of leaf castings in concrete and thought I would try making a permanent concrete tablecloth for one of my outside tables that had a bit of rust on it.

I crocheted a tablecloth the size to fit. Then soaked it in a cement slurry. Covered the table with cardboard covered with plastic and draped the table cover over it for a few days to set up. Then I painted it and finished it with a concrete sealer.

I also made a smaller doily and made it into a concrete lace bowl.
