It backfired and the engine cut off. It subsequently backfired twice more while I tried start it again, before I figured out the problem. After filling the oil to the proper level, it will turn over (which I hope means that I didn't ruin the engine by permanently seizing it), but it won't start. The mower is basically brand new - maybe five hours of operation (all but the last couple minutes with engine oil!). Any ideas on how to get it running again? Seems like there hasn't been enough hours of operation to go through all the rigmarole of checking the spark plugs and other things I've seen listed as possible problems that would prevent starting...
