CLOSED: Big reddish bird

It looks like a fox sparrow, kinda, but it was a large bird, Robin sized or bigger. Bad shots (I think I need a new camera, do they wear out?)
Any ideas?

Brown Thrasher. When I saw my first one I thought it was a type of Thrush. They are a fun bird with a neat song.
