Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica)

I enjoy hearing the Barn Swallow sing! He is a happy cheery fellow. As he carries on his tune, he doesn't open his mouth wide until the final "note" of his song. The song really cannot be described in words, but he ends with what best can be described as a clicking sound.
The day this photo was taken, I was giving the little couple white feathers for their nest. They have to compete with the Tree Swallows, but they look to have enough now.
