Yardbird,
I checked your link. This contact phone number IS NOT long distance for me .. I will phone them and ask questions if you like.Contact me offline, with a list of questions you have.I can relay for you.

My first thought .... DO NOT PAY ANYONE ANYTHING to see if you qualify for a program.THIS info. should be FREE !!

I can't find information on this company except for their own advertising. That is a little discomforting. I did find some info on other ways to receive free medicine. Here are the links I found:

This one provides info for those with no insurance or means to pay for their meds. It requires your doctor send the request in on their office stationary: http://www.windsofchange.com/meds.html

This site is specific to AIDS & HIV, but it has info on this page about obtaining free medications: http://www.thebody.com/afford/free.html

Hope that helps! :o) Like I said, I am concerned there are no press releases or reviews or something easily accessible online regarding themedicineprogram.com site and their benefits.

Hopefully they're not an organization which offers to do for a fee what people can do for free themselves (like the two sites I listed show you how to do)...Like the companies which say they can get your name change processed for social security, bills, etc., when it's something anyone can do for free.

Thanks for the replies, I have insurance now but was think'g about when I don't. I can keep my ins. for 18 months and them will be on my own.
