this little buddy is called a Pipistrelle and is our most common bat.

What a sweetie, we have the little brown bats in our area. I have gotten very good at catching and releasing when they get in the house. They really keep the bugs down and in my yard that is a big job.

these little bats and yours eat up to 3000 insects a night = you having a meal every 15 minutes.

come see bats here in the summer sometime.... Once my grandma found a dead bat from our summerhut - yuck.

mark, dunno, both :) But most that it was dead. Usually bat's aren't very "popular" here :]

Haha.... nearest airport is the best airport of Europe - Helsinki-Vantaa.
