I live in southeastern Michigan and found this nest on my property. Can anyone help me to identify it? The eggs are larger than an XL sized chicken egg.
What kind of nest is this?
Wild Turkey? Canada Goose?
Try watching for the bird returning - watch from a good distance so as not to disturb it!

Its perfectly visible through my window so I don't even have to go near it! I'm keeping my eyes peeled for mom. Thanks for the info!
Some ducks also lay a fairly large egg, usually but not always close to water - but I am guessing goose.
I've seen Mallard eggs up close. They're about the same size as regular chicken eggs. So I am with pollengarden. Those could be goose eggs. Just a guess.
